So it's been a month since my first taste of live event
photography and couldn't resist revisiting 'Metaprism'. On entering the
Firehouse in Southampton I gave a huge sigh of relief, the venue was bigger and
had so much more light! The gig, as before was great and I had so much fun
being spontaneous and not worrying too much about setting up the shot and being
perfect but more about capturing the moment as it happens. The things I want to
work on include my exposure control, being more ballsey and no in camera
editing, in other words I need to relinquish control, stop looking to see if I
have the shot and just capture, capture, capture! Again, I definitely need to
update my camera....started to get a little annoyed with the 'busy' screen
while using continuous capture but felt my prime lens was adequate and another
size would be a welcome addition to my kit.
