When I found these photographs I couldn't not show someone, they are beautiful and breath taking, as though you are witnessing the landscape yourself. They capture the feeling of freedom and, in a way, our own insignificance in our world and how that frees you from modern life where you are encouraged to focus on yourself and your achievements.
Elizabeth Gadd is a self taught Canadian photographer who likes to photograph wanderers and adventurers in some completely stunning landscapes.
She has said that she aims to “display human interaction with nature in a positive and peaceful way.” That’s why a lot of her photos are self-portraits, as she finds her favorite serene locations when she wanders alone.
